  • Give some advice on writing, production and post production for a weekend film competition

Who: Bring your whole team or just yourself...

This event is open to teams who have already registered for the DWIFF Challenge, individuals who have registered but need more team members, crew and talent who would like to participate but do not currently have a team.

If you are an actor or actress interested in participating in the DWIFF Challenge and would like to make your availability known to the teams of the Challenge, we invite you to come out with your Head Shot, Resume, and Business Cards to meet the teams and possibly get recruited.

What to Bring: Yourself, your team, and your entry fee

We strongly encourage you to bring out your entire team to this event so everyone has an opportunity to ask questions and understand exactly how this competition works.

How Much: The orientation event is FREE, the DWIFF Challenge costs $75 per team

New teams will be encouraged to form and sign up at this event, you may pay the $75 entry fee by cash.

When is the challenge?

The DWIFF Challenge takes place for 48 hours two weeks before the film festival.

Competition begins, Friday 7:00 P.M. June 11th

Competition ends, Sunday 7:00 P.M. June 13th

 

How do I sign up?

You can enter your team into the DWIFF challenge through this website.  Just fill out the registration form and pay the $75 registration fee online or send in a check.

Are there awards / prizes?

Yes, there will be a formal judging of the films during the two weeks between the challenge and the festival.
