Bringing Motown to the People
The News - Community News

PAH Nation returns to Madonna University in Livonia, IL to present our annual PAH-FEST Motown (July 14-21). With PAH-FEST's huge success with Motown, Madonna is the first successful franchise, where the festival runs independently with supervision from PAH Nation headquarters in Hollywood.

In addition to Mobiflicks, Cellphone Art, DigiPortraits, and Cellular Tone Poems, the festival will feature seminars, speakers and live Second Life webcasts.

Motown Festival Director, Sue Boyd, has spearheaded this PAH-FEST after the seed festival in 2007. Says Sue, "Four students from Madonna University participated in the first PAHfest in Grants, New Mexico where they grew not only as film makers, but as people. It seemed a natural progression to have our own PAHfest and with the guidance of Christopher Coppola and his entire PAH Nation team we are holding our second PAHfest this year. With his support of our Broadcast and Cinema Arts program, Christopher has lent his vision as a film maker to many aspiring students.

PAHfest gives us the opportunity to help others with this same passion of storytelling. We believe our little PAH seed is taking root and the stories we are sharing with our community is testament to what PAH is all about."

Acting for the Camera

An Acting Workshop with Chris Bondy!

Saturday, June 28, 1-3 pm in Classroom A (third floor)

A Centerpiece of the CineFlow TechFair, Filmmaker / Actor Christopher Bondy takes an informative, entertaining and serious look at fim acting. These habits are critical and highly effective toward the actors craft as well as their success.

The film and television industry in its subjective and artistic nature is like no other, but it is an industry that challenges the actor to develop both the business side and the artistic side of their being.  This two hour seminar (with open discussion) promises to give the aspiring artist a serious grasp as to what is needed to flourish in a business where many falter!

Finally, you and Renee Zellweiger will at last have something in common.

Building a Detroit Film Culture
Welcome to DWIFF! - Welcome

At last, the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival (DWIFF) is here!  After 14 months of hard yet satisfying work, produced by literally hundreds of volunteers, we have created a weekend that celebrates our love for the movies- and our passion for the art of film!  We have put together some great films, activities, parties, workshops and guest speakers for you to enjoy.

Now, we ask you to tell your family and friends to come downtown and see what a world class film festival can do for our city and our creative and production community.

Thank you for supporting the DWIFF!
